I’m a Director of Engineering who never left the keyboard. I lead teams and still do the software development and DevOps myself: backends, cloud platforms, CI/CD, and the production fires that come with them. I’ve done this through IoT and ML at HomeEXCEPT, live game services at Ubisoft, and now hands on engineering leadership at LincWare.
I’m also founder of inforeal.ai (AI lead conversion for real estate) and veridbooks.com (AI bookkeeping for Canadian accounting firms), building products where agents draft and humans stay accountable.
I design agentic systems the same way I design production backends: clear tools, tight loops, and a human still owning the outcome.
As Director of Engineering I lead the teams and still do the software and DevOps myself. We rebuilt ReferralPlus with Terraform across AWS, Azure, and GCP, tightened CI/CD, and put SSO plus HIPAA minded controls in place. Cloud spend came down about ~40%.
I helped keep services healthy for hundreds of thousands of players: Redis caching, Node.js microservices on Cloud Run (cheaper than the old PlayFab path), Kubernetes migrations, and Locust load tests around 700K users.
Building inforeal.ai, an AI lead conversion platform for real estate teams, and veridbooks.com, AI bookkeeping software for Canadian accounting firms. Drafts that assist, with review still owned by people.
At HomeEXCEPT I built IoT pipelines and shipped TensorFlow/Keras models into Azure. These days I still lead ML/AI work and build agentic AI systems on solid backends.
